We aim to build a portfolio of up to 60 journals across Africa, designed to reflect both disciplinary diversity and balanced regional participation. The portfolio will span a range of academic fields, with at least five journals represented in each field area, while also ensuring meaningful inclusion from North, West, Central, Southern, and East Africa.
This regional structure is not intended to limit journals to publishing research only from their own regions. Rather, it is intended to strengthen African ownership, leadership, and stewardship of scholarly publishing, so that each part of the continent contributes to the growth, credibility, and visibility of African research as a whole. In this way, journals anchored in different regions can collectively support a stronger, more connected, and more representative Pan-African research ecosystem.
Partner with us to create a credible, visible, and professionally managed journal that contributes to the growth of African scholarship.
